Andy,

I understand your frustration, and I can appreciate your enthusiasm for inserting cumbersome (and sometimes intangible) objects into people’s asses.

Firstly, Bri and Dennis are missing the point. The original post is not about getting a fix to this particular problem, it’s about why this problem even exists in the first place. Why write an error-handler for this situation, instead of just fixing the problem? Or how about making the ‘recycle bin’ not a special place in the file system, but an interface for files that are flagged for deletion?

But I digress.

Andy, Windows is a steaming pile of crap. Might I suggest Linux, or a Mac? I know these aren’t an option for everyone, but they do have the distinct advantage of not being a steaming pile of crap.

damn..it doest work on my case!!! can they just let me be and use my machine with out having any trouble , can some one tell me where i can find the person that makes it and ill shove my PC into his ass..since i cant drag it to drive c i guess ill drag it to his ass instead..grrr..

Boy scout training had to come in handy somewhere. We have a similar leak coming from a drain in our bathroom. Had it fixed 2 times already, and it’s leaking again, already made new holes in the ceiling. I give up.

Wuss! Back in my day, the maintenance guys would come around and MAKE HOLES in the ceiling, just for yuks. Then we’d have to go cut down trees and make our own lumber and plaster to fix it ourselves. That was when men were men and didn’t talk about namby-pamby things like ‘feelings’.
