no matter how many times i’ve heard someone assert their theory that injecting ‘undesirable’ people with chemicals or sending them to a special camp will ‘cure’ them of the tendencies that make them an outcast in traditional society, it never seems to work.

apple strikes again

the iphone is either going to reinvent the digital lifestyle if it’s successful, or seriously hinder apple’s future if it fails.
personally i think it’s pretty damn sweet. that apple tv thing is cool too, but not as big a leap forward.

war and religion

it’s a pretty simple way to illustrate the concept. if there isn’t a course available that covers this topic at your local college, there should be, considering nearly all wars throughout history involved religious conflict at some level.
